Is More College the Answer or Do You Need Skills such as Internet Marketing and Communication Skills?

So much emphasis these days is put on getting a college degree and getting a good job, so many people will delay money and put work and effort into school delaying income gratification.

The problem these days is many degrees don't get you or prepare you for jobs leaving many unemployed college educated people.

I am not advocating that you don't go to college, but I am saying that like anything else life, you "shouldn't put your eggs all in one basket" as the saying goes.

Colleges are failing people at getting jobs everywhere you look, yet in a sagging economy over the last 6 years, the solution is to get more education if you don't get a job. Does that make sense?  It doesn't to me.

I am sure you see so many courses, trainings or webinars selling the instant internet marketing product that is going to make you rich.  Most of this stuff are garbage or outright scams.  That said, internet marketing is a valuable skills to learn. Why? Well, let me explain.

Think about what the internet has done to our economy and some companies.

First, the internet has pushed more and more jobs overseas (both white collar and blue collar) jobs.

Second, even companies like Microsoft have fallen behind, because companies like Google have move ahead in the importance of the internet.

Third, if you didn't know, for the first time in its history cable subscriptions.  The internet is causing this.  Broadband and high-speed internet connections is causing people to cancel cable and spend that money on real-time, on-demand, specific TV shows or movies they want to watch.

The internet is the future and we are at the tip of the iceberg.  Internet skills or internet marketing skills are critical to the future.  Everything already revolves around the internet whether you want to face that or not.

Communication isn't a new skill at all, but with the internet, mobile phones, texting, instant messenging making us all less personal, having interpersonal skills will be less and less of a common occurrence. The people who learn "people and communication skills" will be the people who get the best jobs, start businesses, and make the most money.

Money Making Skills is Principle #1 in my free, truly-free eBook called "Economy 2.0, How To Kick-Ass in the 21st Century." This is a free, no-obligation, no information required download.  I just want to expose you to this information.
